Yixiong Gao

I am a first-year Ph.D student in the Department of Computer Science at City University of Hong Kong, fortunate to be advised by Prof. Minming Li. Prior to this, I received my B.Eng (Honors) in Computer Science and Technology at Hangzhou Dianzi University under the supervision of Prof. An Zhang.

I have a broad interest in theoretical computer science. Currently, I am focusing on combinatorial optimization problems, especially scheduling problems.

I am highly involved with Competitive Programming. I was a contestant and won five gold medals in the ICPC Contests. I have also served as the chief judge and set problems for multiple official contests, including the ICPC Asia East Continent Online Selection Contests.
